For the past 11 years I’ve been working regularly with Bradford Exchange & Hamilton Collection, and I’ve designed and/or illustrated hundreds of collectibles. Collaborating with producers and working with sketches or written prompts, I design and create enticing digital illustrations of prospective products: staying on licensed branding, editing for cost, designing/illustrating with balance and dimension in mind, and creating meticulous decals that add custom intricacies to products in a more cost-effective way than sculpted or painted details. The surprise of what kind of project will land on my desk (privately dubbed Visual Mad Libs) really inspires me. I like playing in different styles, and under creative parameters and real-world restrictions.
